Building People At the core, Living Waters is about people, seeing God’s children live holy and authentic lives. Our prayer and discipleship programs provide safe places for men and women to be honest about their relational and sexual struggles, and to be renewed through God’s healing work. Equipping Leaders Every year, Living Waters Canada hosts a training conference to equip men and women who want to become leaders in local Living Waters groups, or who want to establish a Living Waters program in their church community. As well, the conference is open to those in pastoral ministry, professional counselling and lay leadership. Through an intensive week, participants will walk through a condensed version of the Living Waters program—which includes times of worship, teaching and small group ministry. With this experience, men and women will grapple with their own personal brokenness, allowing them to deepen their relationship with Jesus and enabling them to empathize with others who struggle with relational and sexual problems. Senior leaders within the ministry lead all the sessions and small groups, which gives participants a firsthand experience with the essentials of a Living Waters program. Learning Essentials The training conference also teaches the key aspects of running a Living Waters program. Workshops include sessions on:
