Weekend Conferences
A primer for churches interested in pursuing wholeness
At the invitation of churches, Living Waters leaders conduct two-day conferences on relational wholeness. These events
are helpful for churches that desire inner healing for their members, and
want to initiate a Living Waters program in their community.
In the past, we've held weekend conferences in Halifax, Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto, North Vancouver and Vancouver.
Who’s
it for?
The weekend conferences offer churches and their
members the chance to see God’s healing work through people’s
lives.
What’s involved?
Living Waters’ staff members can put together
a conference based on the advice and needs of a church community. The
following are just
some of the topics that can be covered during the plenary sessions:
- Acknowledging Our
Need
- Giving Our Brokenness to Jesus
- Embracing a Healing Journey
Usually workshops are also offered at a conference. Some topics for
these sessions can include:
- Sexual addiction
- Boundaries
- Abuse
- Healthy friendships
- Spiritual abuse
- Same-sex attraction
We work with churches to set the content for the conference. Local organizers are responsible for publicity and logistics for a weekend conference. To receive a handout that outlines what it takes to host a Living Waters conference, email us.
